Inlays and Onlays
Dental inlays and onlays are considered a conservative method of treating damaged teeth. They are used instead of placing crowns. Inlays and onlays can be used to treat tooth decay. Instead of filling in the tooth, Dr. Abtahi uses CEREC and in office Milling machines to design and fabricate ceramic or Zirconia inlays and onlays for an immediate placement. She then fitted them and bonded them to your teeth.
Next time, ask Dr. Abtahi about inlays and onlays and if she recommends them for you.request an appointment
Crowns in a day (CEREC)
CEREC is wonderful because in only one visit you can get a smile you will be proud of! The process uses the latest technologies, allowing us to make artificial teeth right in our office.
After a thorough examination with x-rays and CEREC images, Dr. Abtahi designs and fabricates the crowns in her office using her two milling machines for a faster production and placement.request an appointment
Cracked Tooth Repair
Cracked teeth can cause a variety of symptoms including pain while chewing, temperature sensitivities, and the release of biting pressure. It’s common for pain to come and go, which can make diagnosing the cause difficult.
While you chew, cracked pieces of your tooth move, causing the pulp within the tooth become irritated. When biting pressure is released, the crack can close quickly resulting in sharp pain. If left untreated, the pulp will eventually become damaged and the tooth will constantly hurt, even when you are not chewing.
There are different types of cracks, and each should be evaluated to prevent tooth loss and infection.
