WHAT HAPPENS DURING DENTAL IMPLANT SURGERY?
When you arrive for dental implant placement, you rest in a comfortable dental chair in a relaxing room. Dr. Abtahi and her team numb your mouth, so you don’t feel any pain during the procedure. Using surgical techniques, she inserts dental implants in your jaw. Follow all post-surgical instructions after the procedure.
After few months of healing, you come back for another appointment to take a new 3-D x-ray to verify the healing. Once the implant is ready for a crown, Dr. Abtahi uses her scanners to digitally obtain a duplicate of your mouth to fabricate an implant crown.
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR DENTAL IMPLANTS?
To properly care for your new implants, make sure to brush your teeth at least twice a day and floss daily. If you grind your teeth, Dr. Abtahi creates a custom-made night guard to protect your teeth.
