Dr. Abtahi has earned A Bachelor Degree in Biology from University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Georgetown University. Her training as a nurse allowed her the opportunity to work with many different patients. Dr. Abtahi decided to transition from nursing to dentistry and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Abtahi is devoted to creating excellence in all phases of patient care. She understands that some patients fear dentistry, and she puts them at ease with her caring attitude and gentle touch. Dr. Abtahi continuously pursues advanced courses in dentistry, especially in the areas of cosmetic, orthodontics, restorative, and implant reconstructive dentistry.
